Dr. Hala Elsamna

Dr. Hala Elsamna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from NJIT as part of a highly selective 7-year joint program with Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude. She completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack Meridian Health, followed by a one-year orthodontic fellowship at Rutgers. She then earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics through a comprehensive residency at the Center for Translational Orthodontic Research (CTOR) in Hoboken, NJ.
During her training, Dr. Hala developed a strong focus on early orthodontic intervention, growth modification, and comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She also incorporates advanced techniques in accelerated adult orthodontics treatment, with a particular interest in bone biology and long-term preservation. Dr. Elsamna regularly collaborates with general dentists and oral surgeons to manage complex, interdisciplinary cases – ensuring patients receive the most well-rounded, coordinated care possible.
She is certified in Invisalign® and stays current with the latest clear aligner technology, offering customized, aesthetic treatment plans for teens and adults.
As both an orthodontist and a mother, Dr. Hala understands the importance of finding compassionate, expert care for children and families. She brings a parent’s perspective to every visit, creating a supportive and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.
She is the co-founder of the Global Academy of Dentistry (GAD) and an active member of the AAO, NJDA, ADA, and the Charles H. Tweed International Foundation.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter – an experience that continues to shape her family-first, patient-centered approach to care.
